Anime Dice Traits Guide — Every Trait Grade & Reroll Rules
Anime Dice traits explained: the full grade table from Money I to Eternal (27x/27x/27x at 0.002%), single-stat traits, reroll rules and the Auto Roll option — all read from the in-game Traits panel.
Anime Dice traits are the multiplier layer on every unit: each unit rolls one trait that scales its income, damage and health together (or a single stat). This guide carries the full grade table read straight from the in-game Traits panel, plus the reroll rules the game itself warns you about.
The Trait Grades (Full Table)
The premium grades multiply all three stats at once:
| Trait | Income | Damage | Health | Roll chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eternal | 27x | 27x | 27x | 0.002% |
| Transcendent | 15x | 15x | 15x | 0.006% |
| Monarch | 8x | 8x | 8x | — (to be verified) |
| Shogun | 5x | 5x | 5x | — (to be verified) |
| Samurai | 3x | 3x | 3x | 0.5% |

Single-Stat Traits (the common rolls)
Below the named grades, units roll single-stat traits — these are what most of your roster wears until rerolls land something better:
| Trait | Effect | Roll chance |
|---|---|---|
| Money I / II / III | 2x / 12x / 15x Income | 25.4% (Money I) |
| Damage I / II / III | up to 15x Damage | 12%-25.4% |
| Health I / II / III | 2x-15x Health | 1.2% (Health I) |
There's also an income grade ladder (up to 50x Income at 0.001%) shown on unit rolls — the Units database tracks it alongside unit odds.
Reroll Rules (Read the Warning)
The Traits panel states it in caps: "WARNING: Rerolling a trait will replace any current traits!" — rerolls don't upgrade, they replace. That means:
- A bad reroll can leave a unit with No trait (the panel's default state).
- Trait Rerolls come from codes — stock up free on the codes page before spending gems.
- Auto Roll toggles continuous rerolls — use it only with a stockpile, not with your last reroll.
Which Traits Are Worth Chasing
- Farming units (income): Eternal > Transcendent > Monarch for raw income; Money II (12x) is the best common-roll outcome early.
- Tower units (damage/health): the same named grades, but Damage/Health weighting matters more for pushing Floors.
- Early game: accept Samurai (3x) happily — at 0.5% it's roughly a 1-in-200 reroll, and your first Eternal at 0.002% is a long-game chase.
How Traits Interact With Everything Else
Trait multipliers stack with your dice luck (which controls what units you roll at all) and income grades (which scale the unit's base $/s). The practical priority for new players: better dice first, then traits — the full reasoning is in the tier list and the beginner guide.
FAQ
Can I remove a trait without replacing it?
No — rerolling always replaces whatever is there, including with nothing. The trait system is strictly re-roll, not add.
What is the rarest trait in Anime Dice?
Eternal — 27x Income, 27x Damage and 27x Health at a 0.002% roll chance, confirmed on the in-game grade list.
Do traits apply to towers?
Yes — traits multiply damage and health as well as income, which is what carries Tower runs into the higher Floors.
